Pick a car with the salvage auto parts you need in just three easy steps!
- Search our large inventory of vehicles to find the dismantler auto parts you need. You can search for the recycled parts you need either online (which is free), or by coming in person to one of our U-Pull-It locations (for an admission fee of just £1).
- Purchase the right to remove the breaker auto parts from the vehicle you choose.
- Reserve a 7-hour period on the day of your choice to come to our location and remove all the spare parts you need from the vehicle.
You must pay for the parts and reserve a timeslot at least 48 hours before you wish to visit us.
Note that you are NOT buying the vehicle itself so you will not become the registered keeper of the vehicle and you will not get a log book for it.
You are buying those parts of the vehicle that you can remove and take away yourself in your timeslot (which is a 7-hour period from 9am to 4pm) EXCEPT:
- the battery,
- any catalytic converter, or
- the vehicle's frame.
We will remove the battery from the vehicle before your visit. If you want to buy a battery from us, you will have to pay extra for it.
If you request, we will also remove the vehicle's engine and gearbox before your visit because of their size and weight. The engine and gearbox are included in the price you pay but if you want either or both of them you will have to pay an additional fee to cover our labour costs in removing them. For safety reasons you are not permitted to remove the engine or gearbox yourself. However, you do not have to take the engine and gearbox.
At the end of your timeslot we will keep the vehicle and we will dispose of the parts you have left behind. You may not purchase the vehicle's catalytic converter or frame under any circumstances.
You must sign in and sign out with our reception when you come to remove parts. When you do so you will be agreeing to stick to our safety rules. You can see those rules now by clicking here.
We will not provide you with any tools so you must bring your own tools when you come to remove parts. You may bring hand tools and battery-powered tools with you but you may not use or bring with you any power tools or any cutting/grinding equipment.
You may change your timeslot without charge as long as you give us at least 24 hours notice.
If you do not attend your timeslot without giving us at least 24 hours notice, there will be a £50 fee to cover the costs we incur when we prepare the vehicle for your visit and you will have to pay this fee before you come to remove any parts.
If you do not rearrange your visit within ten (10) days of your original timeslot, we will store the vehicle up to twenty (20) days further. The storage will cost you £5 per day and you will have to pay this storage charge before you come to remove any parts.
If you do not come to remove parts from the vehicle within thirty (30) days of your original timeslot, we will put the vehicle up for re-sale. We will deduct the £50 fee and any storage charges from the proceeds of the re-sale and refund the rest to the card you used to pay for the vehicle.
